This is all you need to do:
Buy a few green onions for a couple of dollars.
Chop the green onion up and add to practically any recipe.
Put the remaining onion stubs in a glass, fill with water until the white part of the onion is covered.
Watch it grow….literally you can almost see the onion grow because it goes so quickly.
If you don’t use green onion very frequently I have found that you can very easily trim the onion once a week and store them in a ziplock bag in the freezer. Now you will always have fresh green onions on hand!
